90 Days Black Leadership Marathon

OUR GOAL

This challenge is a cornerstone of a powerful, structured community initiative focused on empowering Black leaders. The key focusing points are:

  1. Holistic Empowerment: The program goes beyond professional development, addressing personal growth, mental wealth, and community building.

  2. Action-Oriented & Marathon Mindset: The “90-Day” and “Marathon” framing emphasizes sustained effort, consistency, and tangible progress over quick fixes.

  3. Community-Centric: There’s a strong focus on creating “tribes,” fostering collaboration over competition, and leveraging collective wisdom.

  4. Practical Skill-Building: The challenge is designed to provide immediately applicable tools, frameworks, and strategies for leadership and business.

  5. Identity-Affirming & Culturally Relevant: The space is intentionally created for Black leaders, acknowledging and addressing unique challenges and opportunities.

DAY 1

(Breaking the Unwholeness: Healing First to Claim Your Leadership Title)

Many of us carry wounds we didn’t create. Trauma is not only what happens to you it can be what is handed down to you. Science calls this intergenerational trauma, and it is real. Studies have shown that children of those who lived through slavery, colonization, war, or oppression often inherit the stress markers, fears, and coping patterns of their parents. Start the challenge here.

DAY 2

(Forgive Yourself: Breaking Free from Yesterday to Lead Tomorrow)

Coach Dudu highlights this truth: “We have more grudges against ourselves than we have against others.” and this is perhaps one of the biggest blockages to leadership. How do you guide a family, a team, or a community when you are still reliving yesterday’s errors? How do you inspire others to believe in tomorrow if you don’t even believe in yourself today?

This silent grudge is dangerous because it isn’t visible. When someone else wrongs us, there’s a clear face to attach to the pain. But when the grudge is inward, it becomes shame. Shame whispers: “You’re not good enough. You always fail. You can’t be trusted to lead.” And once shame takes root, it becomes an internal dictator, limiting the possibilities we see for ourselves. DAY 3

No One Like You: Discovering the Leadership of Your Uniqueness
(No One Like You: Discovering the Leadership of Your Uniqueness)

Your uniqueness is not a flaw to be hidden; it is the foundation of your power. The leaders you admire, the innovators you celebrate, the artists who change culture, they are all people who embraced what made them different instead of running from it. Start the challenge here.

DAY 4

The Word After “I Am”: Claiming Your True Identity
(The Word After I Am)

A powerful declaration means little without consistent practice. Living out your “I am” requires embedding it into your lifestyle. For example, if your word is “disciplined,” you cannot continue living in chaos. You must begin setting routines, respecting deadlines, and saying no to distractions. Your word guides your actions. If your word is “resilient,” you must embrace challenges with persistence, learning from setbacks instead of quitting. Click here to start the challenge.

DAY 5

The Power of Listening to Your Mind
(The Power of Listening to Your Mind)

Listening to yourself isn’t about arrogance or selfishness but alignment. It is about tuning into that inner guidance system that has been with you since childhood. Ignore it long enough, and you begin living life on borrowed scripts. Honor it, and you start to walk in authenticity. Follow this link to start the challenge.

DAY 6

Listen to Your Body Before It Shuts Down
(Listen to Your Body Before It Shuts Down)

There are patterns our bodies create to warn us. Sometimes it is in the tightness of the jaw during conflict, when the words we swallow sit heavier than the words we speak. Other times, it is in the way our breathing changes when we enter certain rooms, certain meetings, or even certain relationships. Start the challenge here.

DAY 7

Finding the Why Behind Your Diet as a Black Leader
(Finding the Why Behind Your Diet as a Black Leader)

When your why is rooted in something bigger than yourself, dieting shifts from being a punishment to becoming an act of purpose. For some, the why is about wanting to walk their daughter down the aisle. For others, it’s about living long enough to mentor the next generation, and for some, it’s about finally breaking the cycle of poor health patterns that have plagued their families for decades. Click here to start the challenge.

DAY 8

Sustainable Eating: Building a Diet That Lasts Beyond Trends
(Sustainable Eating: Building a Diet That Lasts Beyond Trends)

When it comes to diet, the first and most practical question is: What should you actually eat? The answer is simpler than the industry makes it seem: whole foods over processed ones. Whole foods are those that come as close as possible to their natural form: vegetables, fruits, grains, legumes, nuts, fish, and lean meats. They carry nutrients that processed, packaged, and heavily fried foods often strip away. If you want to build a lasting diet, start the challenge here.

DAY 9

The Right Time to Eat as the Hidden Key to Health Clarity
(Knowing The Right Time to Eat as Leaders)

Timing is not a small detail; it is the rhythm that either fuels your body or silently works against it. Across cultures, the healthiest communities are not only defined by what they eat but also when. Farmers rise with the sun and break their fast early, laborers eat heartily during the day, and elders often eat lighter in the evening. This is not just tradition; it is wisdom aligned with the body’s natural clock. Learn the right time to eat by starting the challenge here.

DAY 10

Mastering Your Hours, Mastering Your Life: (Day 10 of 90 Days Black Leadership Marathon)
(Mastering Your Hours, Mastering Your Life)

Self-discipline is often misunderstood as something harsh, like denying yourself joy or living under strict, joyless rules. In truth, it is the quiet force that gives your goals shape, your energy direction, and your vision a timeline. Without it, dreams remain wishes, and ambition dissolves into frustration. Start the challenge here.

DAY 11

Why Fitness Matters for Leaders
(Why Fitness Matters for Leaders)

When the body moves, the brain follows. Scientific research shows that physical activity stimulates the release of endorphins and reduces cortisol, the stress hormone. That means less mental fog and more room for clear thinking. Start the challenge here.

DAY 12

Why the Black Man needs Self Belief in Building Leadership
(Importance of Self-Belief in Building Leadership)

Self-belief is not a replacement for knowledge or systems it does not cancel the need for training, planning, or support. Instead, it is the quiet engine that makes those other elements come alive. A strategy on paper means little if the person holding it doubts their ability to act. A supportive network cannot help much if you constantly second-guess your place within it. Start the challenge here.

DAY 13

Breaking Free to Move Forward: Reflection for Leaders
(Breaking Free to Move Forward: Reflection for Leaders)

Healing and forgiveness are not items on a checklist to mark “done” and forget. They are living practices; ones that must be returned to, refreshed, and deepened as life unfolds. Each time you pause to heal, you reclaim energy that was once drained by old wounds. Each time you forgive, you free up focus that was once trapped in yesterday. Together, they make you lighter, clearer, and more present for the work of leadership.  Start the challenge here.

DAY 14

Uniqueness and the Power of “I Am”: The Mirror Within
(Uniqueness and the Power of “I Am”)

At the heart of leadership lies a truth many overlook: you were never designed to be a copy. Every voice, every step, every decision you take carries an imprint that cannot be duplicated. Day 3 challenged us to see this clearly: that leadership is not about imitation, but about ownership. The world does not need another version of someone else; it needs the depth of who you are. Click here to start the challenge.

DAY 15

Mastering Timing and Hours to Build a Life of Clarity and Impact
(Mastering Timing and Hours to Build a Life of Clarity and Impact)

Some of the most defining moments in history did not come from rushing ahead, but from waiting for the right time to act. The difference between success and struggle is often not effort, but timing. Every leader faces this tension: move too quickly, and you risk breaking what you’re trying to build. Wait too long, and the window of opportunity may close. Wisdom lies in knowing when to pause, when to prepare, and when to step forward. Join the challenge here.
